This is totally cool. The nail gun is not all that heavy, does not need the few seconds warm up time like an impulse, and no propane smell either. I ordered this from Hardware Sales Inc. It was missing its charger and battery when delivered, but they were prompt in responding and they are on the way. It shoots as fast as I need it too, no delays. Best of all, I already have a battery system to support it.
Honestly a great finish nailer to use. I have both the bostitch and a dewalt finish nailers and they don't compare to this 18 volt dewalt model. It has lots of power and is really easy to handle with no air hose and compressor. If anyone is interested in this finish nailer I would highly recommened it. One down side of the nailer can be the weight which is a little over eight pounds but you seem to get use to it. I got mine brand new at Lowes for $339 and it came in a pack with the 18 volt dewalt circular saw.
There is definitely an advantage to not having an air hose to worry about. I bought this reconditioned nailer and have been pleased so far. You can take the tool anywhere in the house. I have used it to attach various mouldings throughout my house. It has worked flawlessly so far. The depth setting works well. Even with its large frame it is easy to handle.
